Have you googled today? What did you notice?
Is it just coincidence? Albert Einstein's birthday is today too!
Would you like to hear what the digits of pi translated to music sounds like? Listen to tubular bells. You might also like to try some art based on the digits of pi on the same site.

ReplyDeleteMrs. Burke are we going to have pi day again? I remember one year we had a bunch of pie's and we had to use math to split them up. And another year each person had a # and we made a paper chain of the digets in pi. An i finished 5.2 this morining too!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pi Day!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a question on the homework on review: for #24, it involves sea level and it says 24 feet below sea level. If you were to create and graph an inequality to that, like we did in # 24, would you write the number as -24? (By the way, 24 is just a random example) because it is BELOW sea level, because I was thinking of it as a number line...and sea level was zero, and because it is below sea level it would be negative.....right?
ReplyDelete24 feet below sea level is -24 ft.
ReplyDeleteAwww I'm too late. I didn't get to wish Albert a Happy birthday! And i don't get how a number has a sound...so the song doesn't really make sense.
ReplyDeletewhen you say a number, it has a sound, laura. we're supposed to finish review of sec. 5.4 and do covering sec. 5.5, right?
